Elizabeth Gagné has over 20 years of experience in software development. Elizabeth began their career in 1996 as a Software Developer at Hewlett-Packard's Protocol Test Centre. In 1998, they moved to Ericsson as a Software Developer. From 2000 to 2003, they worked as a Software Designer/Developer at NMS Communications, where they integrated an ATM UNI 4.0 and Classical-IP protocol stacks onto an embedded card (cPCI). From 2003 to 2004, they were a Senior Software Designer at Loto-Québec and then moved to Blueslice Networks, where they were a Senior Software Designer and integrated a SS7 & SIGTRAN protocol stacks for an HLR (Home Location Register). From 2005 to 2014, they worked as a Senior Software Designer at Oz, Nokia, Synchronica, and Myriad Group. In 2014, they joined Schneider Electric as a Senior Software Engineer, where they developed a scalable cloud-based ecosystem with remote energy management for HVAC, lighting and metering devices in real time. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at TEKsystems as a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, where they did IT consulting work for different clients about their CI/CD pipeline. Since 2017, they have been a Principal Software Designer and Technical Lead of the Management Plane team at Kaloom, where they are the point of reference for technological issues related to the management of the Kaloom Software Defined Fabric.

Elizabeth Gagné obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal between 1993 and 1996. In 2015, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® from SCRUM ALLIANCE®. Elizabeth also holds an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level certification from Amazon Web Services.
