Punit Khare has a strong background in international business development, with experience in various leadership roles at Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited. Punit started as AGM-Business Development, International Projects in August 2011 and progressed to DGM-Business Development, International Projects in April 2014. In April 2016, they were promoted to GM- International Business Development, and in April 2019, they became AVP-International Business Development. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President International Business Development at the company. Prior to their time at Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, Punit Khare worked as a Trade Advisor and Consultant in the Infrastructure Sector at the International Trade Department of The Consulate General of Canada in Mumbai from July 2009 to October 2011.
Punit Khare completed an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Schulich School of Business - York University in 2008. Punit also holds a BEng in Electronics Engineering from Bhilai Institute of Technology, which they earned between 1992 and 1996. Additionally, they pursued Project Finance studies at IIBF/Mumbai & IFMR/Chennai starting in 2011.
