Eliezer Mishory has held a variety of roles in the legal and regulatory fields. In 2021, they became the Chief Regulatory Officer and General Counsel at Kalshi. In 2020, they served as Special Counsel to Commissioner Quintenz at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). In 2019, they acted as the Deputy Director and Associate Director of the Division of Market Oversight (DMO) at the CFTC. In this role, they supervised the Data and Reporting Branch and developed policy and regulations on data related provisions of the CEA. Eliezer also co-led the team developing the Part 49 SDR regulations. From 2014 to 2019, they were an Attorney at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where they developed policies, forms, and instructions for IRS and Treasury data reporting initiatives. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Law Clerk at Ober Kaler, where they collaborated with partners to advise clients on international and domestic tax matters. Finally, from 2007 to 2012, they were a Research Fellow at Yeshiva Birchas Mordechai.
Eliezer Mishory attended The George Washington University Law School from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law.
