Dotan Shahar

Dotan Shahar has extensive experience in various roles in the technology industry. Dotan is currently the VP of Engineering (Delivery) at Kaltura, where they lead a global team of 40 professionals across Solution Architecture, System Engineering & DevOps, and Software Development. Prior to this, they worked at Sisense as the Director of Professional Services EMEA & APAC and Sisense Internal Tools, where they led multiple teams spread across four sites. Dotan also served as the Global Manager of Solution Architects at Sisense and was instrumental in building the Solution Architects practice. Before their time at Sisense, Dotan worked as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, BI and Big Data Engineering Lead at PLYmedia, and various roles at Convertonet/Mansion, where they developed and maintained the company's BI systems. Dotan started their career as an intern at EY in the Indirect Taxation department, where they worked on a project to create a CRM system. Dotan also gained experience in the Financial Department of the Prime Minister's Office.

Dotan Shahar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Economics from 2007 to 2010. They also have additional certifications, including an edX Honor Code Certificate for Big Data with Apache Spark and certifications in Big Data Concepts and Technologies and Oracle MySQL for DBAs and Developers from John Bryce / Oracle.
