SEO Specialist

At Kalungi, we're seeking an SEO Specialist to drive organic growth for our clients, increasing their website visibility, traffic, and qualified leads.
The SEO specialist will leverage SEO tools to increase the visibility of a client’s website on search engines –to ultimately grow organic traffic and increase qualified leads.
Part of this job will involve performing a thorough website analysis, which can uncover opportunities for technical SEO to improve website speed, indexing, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and website architecture. SEO experts need to know how all tiers of search engine optimization contribute to how prominently your website is ranked amongst Google search results.
This is a rare opportunity to learn and gain experience in B2B SaaS marketing while making a daily impact on companies experiencing exponential growth. All hires will take part in a "probationary period" to determine if the role is a good fit.

Our ideal candidate:
Education/Background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in Marketing/SEO (3+ years experience).
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console. Basic understanding of HTML and CSS. HubSpot experience is a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent time management, communication, and presentation skills. Client-facing experience is essential. Creative thinking, attention to detail, and a focus on adding value to every touch point, process, project or task they are a part of are highly valued.
Solid background in creating strategies across multiple channels, for multiple audiences/personas.
Can collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders to collect and organize information in a user-friendly manner.
