Filipe Xavier

Filipe Xavier has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Filipe is currently working as a Design Mentor at adplist.org, where they mentor designers. Prior to this, they served as a Product Design Lead at Kaluza, where they led multiple teams and worked on improving collaboration and design practices. Before that, Filipe was a Lead Product Designer at Talkdesk, leading the design team and shaping product strategy. Filipe also worked as a Product Designer at Uniplaces, where they focused on improving user experience and funnel optimization. Filipe's earlier experience includes roles as a UX/UI Designer at Novabase and a Web Designer & Front-End Developer at Premium Minds. Filipe also worked as a freelance Web & Graphic Designer, designing websites and brand identities for small businesses and artists.

Filipe Xavier attended Hyper Island in 2021, where they studied Leading teams. From 2005 to 2009, they pursued a degree in Novas Tecnologias da Comunicação at Universidade de Aveiro, specializing in Information Technology. As part of the Erasmus Program, they spent the academic year 2007-2008 at Universidade de Vigo, studying Web Design, Video, Publicidade e Design. In 2004-2005, they attended Escola Superior de Educação de Coimbra, focusing on Design e Tecnologia.
