Ashley Nash

Ashley Nash has a long and varied work experience. Ashley began their career in 2007 with McNeese State University, where they served as Vice President of Student Union Board and Marketing Coordinator. In this role, they designed flyers, t-shirts, and digital media, as well as worked with vendors and wholesalers for the ordering of promotional items. Ashley also designed the website and created emails and text blasts. In 2009, they began working with Boyd Gaming as a Junior Graphic Designer Intern, where they supported the lead graphic designer in supplying all the design needs for the company and making prints using various design jet printing systems on site. Ashley then moved on to Pro Image Silkscreening LLC, where they served as Co-Manager and Graphic Designer. In this role, they were responsible for the designing and production of t-shirts and other apparel, as well as the ordering of promotional items for use by various types of businesses and organizations. Ashley also utilized customer service and social skills when working with clients and vendors. In 2011, they began working with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette as an Assistant/Graphic Designer, where they assisted the project coordinator with educational print designs and supplied all of the clerical needs for the Teacher Preparation program. In 2020, they moved on to Alice Boucher Elementary, where they served as an Art Teacher. Finally, in 2022, they began working with Kami, where they currently serve as a Graphic Designer. In this role, they support the community marketing and sales teams to empower, delight, and educate customers through effective design. Ashley develops ideas and design solutions from concept to completion across many mediums such as digital media, newsletters, one-pagers, merchandise, emails, cards, and much more.

Ashley Nash received their Diploma of Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2012, where they studied Art Teacher Education. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's Degree from McNeese State University in 2009, where they studied Graphic Design.
