Prentice Stamps

Prentice Stamps has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Prentice started their career in 1993 as a System Analyst/Developer at Imerys (formerly ECC), where they managed, designed, and developed client server based applications. Prentice then worked as a Senior Consultant/Software Developer at The Palmer Group and Esavio Consulting from 1996 to 2002, delivering software solutions to clients and utilizing various development tools.

In 2003, Prentice joined Cox Enterprises as a Senior Information Technology Project Manager, where they implemented a requirements management framework and served as a Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst on various projects.

Prentice later worked at Travel Channel as a Sr. Manager, IT Interactive Systems and Sr. Manager, IT Operations. In these roles, Prentice provided strategic direction for infrastructure design and systems development, ensured effective data flows between web sites and applications, and managed IT infrastructure for live media events.

From 2011 to 2013, Prentice served as the Technical Director of Application Development for Entertainment & Site Search at Turner Broadcasting, providing strategic direction for infrastructure design and content management systems.

Prentice then worked as the IT Director at True North Custom Media from 2013 to 2017, where they provided long-term direction for system design and development, managed IT and database teams, and defined digital strategies.

At Paramount Software Solutions, Inc, Prentice held the role of Senior IT Director, overseeing architecture, development, and strategic direction on various solutions, implementing the PMO, and driving the adoption of project and program management methodologies.

Most recently, Prentice worked at Inhabit as the Director of Engineering, tasked with building and maintaining a Cloud-first/DevOps/Security IT Development/Operations function, providing oversight for AWS API integrations, and identifying and triaging problems within the daily workflow of development teams.

Currently, Prentice holds the position of Director of IT Application Services at KaMin, where they are responsible for providing strategic direction and management of core software applications and advocating for enterprise-grade IT strategies.

Prentice Stamps obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General from East Georgia State College from 1988 to 1991. Prentice then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) at Georgia Southern University, which they completed from 1991 to 1993. Later, Prentice pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Georgia Southern University, which they completed from 1995 to 2025.
