Rodrigo Perenha has extensive work experience in software engineering and related roles. Rodrigo began their career as a Java Developer for YMF in 2005, followed by a role as a Software Engineering Specialist and Senior Java Developer for Claro in 2006. In 2009, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Porto Seguro and a Java Instructor for Globalcode. From 2010 to 2016, they held various positions at C&A Brasil, including Software Engineering Manager and Software Engineering Team Lead. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager for both Rede and 99. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Software Engineering Manager, Senior Manager, and Director of Engineering at Mercado Livre. Currently, they are the CTO and Founder, as well as Director of Whatever, at Kamino. At Kamino, they are responsible for facilitating the incorporation and management of both domestic and offshore legal structures, as well as related bank account openings. Rodrigo is also providing customers with a full banking product stack to run daily operations at scale.

Rodrigo Perenha has a Bachelor in Computer Science from UNIVEM - Centro Universitário Eurípides de Marília, which they obtained between 2000 and 2003. Rodrigo then pursued a Specialization on Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed in 2013. Rodrigo also has several certifications, such as the Leadership Principles Development Program from Stanford University, obtained in October 2021, the Intensive English Course from The University of British Columbia, obtained in February 2013, the SCJA 1.0 - Sun Certified Associate from Sun Microsystems, obtained in October 2009, the SCJP 1.6 - Sun Certified Programmer from Sun Microsystems, obtained in September 2009, the SCBCD 1.4 - Sun Certified Business Component Developer from Sun Microsystems, obtained in March 2007, the SCWCD 1.4 - Sun Certified Web Component Developer from Sun Microsystems, obtained in February 2006, and the Executive Assessment (EA) - Score 152 from Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC®), obtained in October 2018.
