Siroun Shamigian began their career in 1991 as an Elementary Science Teacher and Coordinator at Yeghishe Manoukian College. In 1997, they moved to Eastwood College as a Science Teacher. In 2003, they joined City International School as a Science Coordinator, Educational Technology Specialist, and Biology Teacher. In 2014, they became the Chief Executive Officer at Kamkalima أكم كلمة. As Educational Technology Specialist, their responsibilities included investigating best practices for technology integration, researching applications related to technology use in the school program, and supporting teachers in their use of technology in all curricular areas, including modeling and co-teaching.
Siroun Shamigian attended Yeghishe Manoukian from 1979 to 1990. Siroun then attended Haigazian University from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Biology. In 2005, they attended Alive Academy and earned a Certified Sports Nutritionist in Nutritional Consultant. In 2016, they attended Harvard Kennedy School and earned an Executive Education in Organizational Leadership. In addition, they obtained a Women's Leadership certification from Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education in March of 2016.
