Naama Katiee

Software Development Engineer at Kando

Naama Katiee has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Naama started their career as an Officer in the Israeli Intelligence Corps, where they served in the Intelligence Unit 8200 and the Navy. After their military service, Naama worked as a Webmaster Instructor at HackerU for two years, excelling in the webSuperMaster courses. Naama then joined Dotomi as a GUI programmer, developing web applications for four years. Naama continued their career at Comet Information Systems as a Front-end developer, specializing in designing and developing Content Management Systems. Naama then joined Intel as a Programmer, where they were part of a path finding team, conducting programming and research in a Physics and Material Engineering orientation. Naama then worked at Driveway as a Full Stack Engineer, before becoming the Co-Founder & CTO of Rompr, a platform for parents to share and discover fun activities for their kids. After four years at Rompr, Naama co-founded another company called Platica, where they served as the Co-Founder & CTO. Platica uses natural language processing technology to help brands improve their communications with customers through automated, personalized marketing and customer service on mobile chat platforms. Most recently, Naama joined KANDO as a Software Development Engineer.

Naama Katiee received their M.A. in Philosophy and History of sciences and ideas from Tel Aviv University, where they studied from 2005 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned their B.Sc. in Physics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they attended from 1998 to 2003. Naama'seducation began at Ulpanat Zfira, where they focused on Physics from 1988 to 1994.
