Malarie Shepherd has a diverse work experience history. Malarie started their career at QCCS PTY LTD in 2011 as a Lead Educator and later became an Assistant Director, until their departure in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Malarie worked at QK Technologies, where they held positions as a Technical Support and later as a National Sales representative. Following their time at QK Technologies, Malarie joined Custom Data Solutions in 2017 as a QikKids Administrator, a position they held until 2021. Currently, they are working at Kangarootime as a Customer Service Specialist.

Malarie Shepherd completed their high school education at Windaroo Valley High from 2000 to 2004. Afterward, they obtained various certifications, including a Diploma of Children's Services from Brisbane North Institute of Tafe in June 2014, a Certificate II in Tourism from Flight Centre in January 2014, and a Certificate III in Children's Services from Logan TAFE in March 2013.
