Daniel Clappison

Daniel Clappison has extensive work experience in various roles within the finance and technology industry. Daniel is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Kani, a position they hold since September 2022. Prior to this, Daniel worked at Virgin Money from 2013 to 2022, where they held the roles of Senior Cards Implementation Manager and Commercial Manager. From 2008 to 2013, they worked at TSYS International as a Product Manager and Consultant in Card Issuing. Before that, they held positions at Newcastle Building Society as Head of Card Solutions and Senior Project Manager. Daniel began their career at Northumbria University in 2003 as a Project Manager and then joined SDL plc as a Project Manager from 2001 to 2003.

Daniel Clappison attended Pocklington school from 1987 to 1994. Following that, they pursued a degree in French from the University of Glasgow from 1994 to 1999. In 1999, they furthered their education by completing a Masters in Applied Translation Studies from the University of Leeds in 2000.
