Thom McNamara

Thom McNamara possesses extensive experience in voter services, resident care, and event coordination. Currently serving at the Kansas City Board of Election Commissioners since January 2016, Thom oversees voter applications and absentee voting processes. Since January 2014, Thom has also been a Senior Resident Care Staff member at SAVE, Inc., where supervision and support are provided to individuals transitioning to permanent housing. As an Independent Contractor since May 2011, Thom has assisted in special events, marketing, and catering for various non-profit and for-profit organizations. Previous roles include Special Events Coordinator and Sales Floor Manager at Tommy Bahama. Thom holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice and Sociology from Rockhurst University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas.
