Dani Murphy

Dani Murphy is an experienced educational professional with a strong background in operations and teaching. As the Founding Director of Operations and Founding Operations Manager at Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy since June 2019, Dani has played a pivotal role in the establishment of the institution. Prior experience includes serving as a 6th Grade Math Teacher at KIPP KC and a 5th Grade Math Teacher at KIPP Tulsa College Preparatory. Dani began a career in education as a Social Studies Teacher at Kansas City Public Schools and participated as a Corps Member with Teach for America. Initial professional experience includes administrative roles at The Barkett Law Firm and as a Nevada Press Intern for the United States Senate Majority Leader. Dani holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, as well as a B.S. in International Business, Economics from Oklahoma State University and a B.S. in Accounting/Finance from the University of Central Oklahoma.
