Alex Laughlin

Alex Laughlin is a dynamic professional with extensive experience in the gaming, esports, and event management industries. As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of the Kansas City Pioneers Esports since July 2019, Alex has played a pivotal role in establishing the organization as the largest gaming and esports entity in the Midwest, connecting with over 100 million people annually. In the role of Assistant League Operator for the American Poolplayers Association since June 2018, Alex has effectively managed a large league in Denver, achieving a 60% revenue increase from 2018 to 2023. Prior to these positions, Alex held leadership roles at GNC Live Well and Midnight 30 LLC, where significant contributions included product development, event execution, and a successful Kickstarter campaign. Alex holds a degree from Rockhurst University, earned between 2009 and 2013.
