Julia Fabris McBride is a seasoned professional in civic leadership development, currently serving as the Chief Civic Leadership Development Officer at Kansas Leadership Center since October 2010, and has held various leadership roles including Interim President and CEO and Vice President. Prior experience includes coaching and speaking at Coach Julia, Inc. from January 2004 to October 2010, and serving as adjunct faculty at the University of Chicago until the same date. Julia was also associated with the James P. Shannon Leadership Institute and Plasticene, and held the position of Deputy Director at the Illinois Arts Alliance and Development Director at Friends of the Chicago River. Julia holds a B.A. in Theatre and English from Case Western Reserve University and a diploma in Acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
