David Rosowsky

Vice President For Research at Kansas State University

David Rosowsky is a distinguished academic and administrative leader in the field of engineering, currently serving as Senior Advisor to the President, Senior Fellow, and Foundation Professor at Arizona State University since July 2024. Prior to this role, Rosowsky was Vice President for Research at Kansas State University from July 2021 to July 2024 and held the position of Provost and Senior Vice President, as well as Professor of Engineering at the University of Vermont from June 2013 to July 2021. Previous appointments include Dean of Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Head of the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University, and faculty roles at Oregon State University, Clemson University, and Purdue University. Rosowsky earned a PhD in Civil Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts University.
