Curtis Marsh has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Curtis started their career at the University of Kansas in 1993 as a Marketing Coordinator and Technology Transfer Associate. Curtis then moved on to become a Program Administrator at the Kauffman Foundation, where they worked on various programs including the BioScience Initiative and the Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program. In 1999, Curtis returned to the University of Kansas as the Associate Director of Marketing for Continuing Education, where they developed marketing strategies for program directors. Later, they took on the role of Director of KU Info, overseeing the university's front desk services. In 2016, Curtis became the Director of KU Info and the DeBruce Center, a new campus facility dedicated to the origins of basketball. Currently, they are working as the Associate Director of Development for the School of Music and the Lied Center at KU Endowment.

Curtis Marsh has a diverse educational background with a focus on marketing, public relations, journalism, and business communications. Curtis attended The University of Kansas from 1987 to 1992, where they attained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Business Communications. Later, from 1997 to 1999, Curtis pursued a higher level of education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where they obtained an MBA degree with a specialization in marketing and public relations.
