Marlys Shulda

Senior Development Director, Journalism at KANSAS UNIVERSITY ENDOWMENT ASSOCIATION

Marlys Shulda has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position was at KU Endowment, where they served as the Development Director for Journalism and later as the Associate Development Director. Prior to that, they worked as the Community Development Coordinator at American Public Square. Additionally, they gained experience as a Design Specialist at Terrasi Living & Scandia Home. Marlys has also been involved in political campaigns and Democratic party work, serving as the Lead Volunteer for the Hillary Victory Fund and taking on multiple volunteer positions with the Kansas Democratic Party. Marlys has also worked with the Johnson County Department of Corrections in various roles, including as a Resource Developer and an Intensive Supervision Officer. Marlys began their career as a Court Services Officer at the Kansas 10th Judicial District.

Marlys Shulda earned their Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree in Sociology, specializing in Crime & Delinquency, from The University of Kansas. Marlys attended the university from 1987 to 1992.
