Sheri Hamilton has a diverse work experience in the field of development and fundraising. Sheri started their career in 1997 as a Development Director at Kansas Public Radio, where they managed various aspects of fundraising and revenue generation. In 2015, they joined KU Endowment as an Associate Development Director for the Dole Institute of Politics, where they worked with donors to support programs and activities. Sheri also served as a development liaison for Kansas Public Radio in this role. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Development Director for the Dole Institute, where they promoted its mission of bipartisan civil discourse and civic participation. Sheri joined KU Endowment again in 2022 as a Development Director and Team Lead for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Most recently, they hold the position of Senior Development Director & Team Lead, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at KU Endowment since 2023.
Sheri Hamilton earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in German Language and Literature and Political Science from The University of Kansas, which took place from 1992 to 1995. Following this, they attended the University of Hamburg in 1995 to 1996 to study Political Science and Government. Additionally, they acquired a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Kansas during the period of 1993 to 1996.
