Jorge Piocuda

Jorge Piocuda is an accomplished academic and career development professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Partnerships & Programs at Virginia Commonwealth University since June 2016, Jorge also contributes as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching students about the career development process. Previous roles include Associate Director of Exploration Community/Science & Sustainability at the University of Virginia, where impactful programs for diverse student populations were developed. Jorge's career kicked off with significant roles at Kansas State University, culminating in a Master of Science in Cognitive Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from relevant institutions. With a strong focus on mentoring and resource development for STEM-H related fields, Jorge continues to enhance career readiness among students.
