Axel Nennker

Axel Nennker is a seasoned professional in the field of technology with extensive experience in identity management, security, and project management. Nennker has been a Technical Expert at Deutsche Telekom since December 1997 and is actively involved as a member of the Kantara Initiative and was part of the Technical Governance Board at the Sovrin Foundation until November 2023. Previously, Nennker served as an expert in project management at T-Labs (Telekom Innovation Laboratories) and held several leadership roles including Director at both the OpenID Foundation and Information Card Foundation. Nennker has also contributed as a judge at RSA Conference Europe, focusing on topics such as Identity Management and Cloud Security. Nennker holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Dipl.-Inform. in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin.
