Claire Bendersky

Claire Bendersky has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering and teaching. Claire is currently working as a Software Engineer at Kantata since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Mavenlink as a Software Engineer from January 2020 to May 2022. Claire has also been involved with Girl Develop It, where they held multiple roles including Chapter Leader, Chapter Organizer, and Instructor from 2015 to 2020. Claire has worked as a Software Engineer at Canvas from February 2019 to December 2019, and as a Javascript Engineer at Movable Ink from August 2016 to February 2019. Claire also briefly worked as a Software Engineer at Scality in 2016. Claire's teaching experience includes roles as a Lecturer and Tech Mentor at Telegraph Academy from December 2015 to May 2016, and as a Hacker In Residence from September 2015 to December 2015. Additionally, they have worked as an Earth and Space Science Editor at TCI: Teachers' Curriculum Institute from March 2014 to June 2015. Claire Bendersky holds a Master's degree in Geochemistry and Petrology from Columbia University. Claire also has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from the same institution. Prior to their graduate studies, Claire earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Planetary Astronomy and Earth Science from Mount Holyoke College. Claire completed their high school education at the Bronx High School of Science. Additionally, Claire has obtained certifications in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) from Bridge-Linguatec and Teaching with Video from the GSAS Teaching Center at Columbia University.
