Jon Bees

Jon Bees has a solid work experience in various roles related to development and operations management. Jon started their career in 1997 as a Consultant Software Engineer at Reengineering Maintenance Conversions, where they worked on software development, parsing COBOL source code, and generating extra semantics. Jon then joined SoftCASE as a Consultant, developing a UML Tool for Kenedy Carter using metaCASE tool.

In 2000, Jon started working at Tertio Telecoms Limited as a Consultant, where they consulted on projects developing OSS software for mobile number portability and provisioning. Jon later became a Senior Consultant, responsible for technical leadership and solution architecture oversight. Jon eventually became a Project Manager, managing a bought services team and delivering critical OSS software for T-Mobile.

From 2005 to 2014, Jon worked at Evolving Systems, initially as a Project Manager responsible for managing projects, input to contract, and customer liaisons. Jon later transitioned into the role of a Development Manager, managing a software development group and enabling faster delivery of solutions. During this time, they also managed the Telemig/Vivo project, which was the business's largest project to date.

In 2014, Jon joined ISYS Interactive Systems Limited as a Systems Implementation Manager. Jon was responsible for delivering software and hardware solutions, capturing requirements, and improving product roll-out processes.

Most recently, Jon joined Interica in 2015 as a Development & Operations Manager. Jon was responsible for line management and servant-leadership of Development, Professional Services, and IT teams. Jon aligned the teams to deliver products and services to the Oil & Gas industry, and they played a key role in implementing Agile methodologies, coaching the team, facilitating scrum meetings, and prioritizing backlog and roadmaps.

Currently, Jon Bees is working as a Development Manager at Kantata, starting in 2022.

Jon Bees attended the University of Hertfordshire from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a BSc Hons degree in Cognitive Science. Jon'sstudies in Cognitive Science encompassed various disciplines such as philosophy, psychology, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, linguistics, and anthropology. In addition to their formal education, Jon Bees has also obtained several certifications, including Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO) from IBITGQ in October 2021, General Data Protection Regulation Foundation from IBITGQ in June 2021, and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance (specific dates not provided).
