Kim André Kjelsberg has a diverse work experience. Kim André started their career as a Technical Test Engineer at Kantega in 2015, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Member in the Pedagogical Modernization Group at Høgskolen i Sør-Trøndelag from August to December 2014. In this role, they assisted with course activities, set up a support center, and conducted surveys. From October 2008 to June 2010, they worked as a Kitchen Assistant/Cook Substitute at LHL Røros Rehabiliteringssenter, a rehabilitation center focusing on heart, lung, and cancer patients. Kim André was responsible for cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and serving areas, as well as providing assistance in the kitchen. From September 2005 to August 2007, they worked as an apprentice and a Laboratory Technician at Norsk Hydro Aluminium Sunndalsøra, where they conducted research and performed routine qualitative analysis of aluminum alloys. Their tasks included preparing and conducting microscopic analysis and destructive testing of aluminum bolts.
Kim André Kjelsberg completed their education in a sequential manner. Kim André started their education in 2003 at Melhus Videregående Skole, where they studied Laboratoriefag until 2005. Following this, they attended Røros Videregående Skole from 2007 to 2008, specializing in Allmennfaglig Påbygging to obtain their Studiekompetanse. Later, from 2010 to 2011, they returned to the academic setting and pursued Forkurs i Matte og Fysikk for Ingeniørutdanning at Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST). Kim André finally completed their Bachelor's degree in Dataingeniør from the same institution, Sør-Trøndelag University College (HiST), from 2012 to 2015.
In addition to their formal education, Kim André Kjelsberg acquired the ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification from the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in March 2018.
