Patrick Fassbind

Patrick Fassbind currently serves as Präsident und Amtsleiter der Kindes- und Erwachsenenschutzbehörde (KESB) Basel-Stadt, a position held since May 2016. Previously, Patrick Fassbind was Präsident der KESB Bern from September 2012 to May 2016 and worked as Leiter Vormundschafts- und Erbschaftsamt des Kantons Glarus from January 2008 to September 2012. Additional experience includes a role in Legal Corporate and Structured Finance at UBS and serving as Advokat und Inhaber at Advokatur Fassbind. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Law (Dr. iur.) from the University of Basel, an Executive Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Bern, and a diploma in child and youth football coaching. Patrick Fassbind holds the title of Advokat from Kanton Basel-Stadt and has a Matura from Gymnasium Münchenstein.
