Colleen Geier is a supervisory case manager at Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP, resident in the New York office.

Colleen joined the firm after working as a paralegal at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York for over ten years. During her time at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Colleen served as the lead paralegal on thirty-two federal criminal trials, assisted in all aspects of discovery, and participated in hundreds of criminal investigations. She coordinated and advised on paralegal and intern training, onboarding, and scheduling, leading ten cohorts of undergraduate paralegal interns, providing both formal and informal training to newly hired paralegals, and managing paralegal hearing and trial schedules. Colleen also participated in the SDNY White Collar Working Group and the Paralegal Council.

Colleen received her B.A. from Boston College, where she was a member of the Honors Program and on the Dean’s List.
