Roberta A. Kaplan

Roberta A. Kaplan is currently a partner at Kaplan Hecker & Fink. Prior to this, they were a senior law clerk for Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye of the New York State Court of Appeals and a law clerk for Hon. Mark L. Wolf of the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts.

Kaplan has had a long and successful career representing a diverse group of clients in complex, high profile matters. Roberta has also been instrumental in championing the rights of the LGBT community. In United States v. Windsor, they successfully argued before the Supreme Court on behalf of Edith Windsor, which paved the way for gay marriage nationwide.

Roberta A. Kaplan attended Columbia Law School and earned their Doctor of Law degree. Prior to attending Columbia, Kaplan completed their undergraduate studies at Harvard University where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree.
