As a partner at Kapor Capital since 2013, Ben Jealous has contributed to social impact venture capital. Previously, as President and CEO of the NAACP from 2008 to 2013, Ben Jealous significantly increased membership, online activism, and donor contributions while spearheading critical civil rights initiatives. Ben Jealous also held the position of President at the Rosenberg Foundation and served as Director of the US Domestic Human Rights Program at Amnesty International, where notable reports on racial profiling and juvenile sentencing were produced. Earlier career roles include Executive Director at the National Newspaper Publishers Association and Managing Editor at the Jackson Advocate. Ben Jealous holds a BA in Political Science from Columbia University and attended the University of Oxford.
