Marisa Gomez

Marisa Gomez is the People Operations Generalist for Kapor Center/SMASH. She is from Redwood City, CA and lived in Chicago for 2 years while obtaining her M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She has experience across multiple sectors including local government, finance, and the tech/startup space. Prior to Kapor Center, Marisa was a HR Generalist at a fast paced startup that focused on bringing AI technology to the water/utilities industry where she built out multiple areas of the HR function including Recruiting. Marisa enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling in her spare time.
