Saqib Tariq

Saqib Tariq is an investment professional with extensive experience in financial analysis and risk management. Currently serving as Associate Investments at Karandaaz Pakistan since December 2022, Saqib specializes in identifying and evaluating private equity and credit investments in the Green sector, alongside conducting detailed financial modeling for renewable energy projects. Previously, Saqib worked at S&P Global from September 2016 to August 2021, where roles included Credit Risk Solutions Lead for the RMEA region and Senior Analyst in the Global Financial Institutions Group, achieving exceptional performance ratings in both positions. Early career experiences include a finance internship at Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited, where Saqib's research contributed to a significant revenue increase, and an editorial internship at IBEX Business Magazine, which enhanced understanding of the Pakistani economy. Saqib holds a Master’s degree in International Finance from the University of Glasgow, an MBA from the National University of Sciences and Technology, and a BBA in Finance from Bahria University.
