John Besteman (He/Him)

John Besteman is an accomplished sales and account management executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Sales and Account Management at Karat since October 2018, Besteman has contributed to the company's position as a leader in technical interviews for clients such as Indeed and Pinterest. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Sales at Wheels Up and Forrester Research, where strategies were developed for business growth. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Marquis Jet Partners, Slalom Consulting, Gartner, and Xerox. Besteman has also been an active board member at Bellevue Boys and Girls Club and served on the Board of Directors for Arena Solution. Besteman holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Math from the University of Puget Sound.
