Laurent Perotin

Laurent Perotin is the current Product & QA Manager at Kard. Prior to this, they worked as a QA Manager at Botify from March 2017 to January 2020, where they were in charge of quality on the whole botify application and website. This included manual testing on each ticket, automation testing on critical paths in the application on frontend (creation of a library of functions to interact with website elements) in javascript (puppeteer and jest), setup of 3 amigos meetings to improve design and delivery of features, test of API through Postman/Newman, definition of relevant dataset helping QA members and developers to test and develop the application, participation in hiring process (test, interview), onboarding of new team members, and management of an intern.

From January 2016 to March 2017, Laurent worked as a Software Validation Engineer - Drone application at Parrot, where they were in charge of the software validation of the applications FreeFlight Pro and FreeFlight Mini allowing to pilot all the drones from Parrot. Laurent personally wrote the whole test plans, launched test runs, and tested both applications according to daily project priorities. Laurent was helped by 2 technicians for the testing part.

Laurent Perotin's educational career includes earning a Diplome d'ingénieur (M2) in Systèmes Embarqués from ENSTA ParisTech, a M2 in Systèmes Intelligents et Robotique from Pierre and Marie Curie University, and an undergraduate degree in Fundamental Physics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI).

Laurent Perotin reports to Scott Gordon, Founder & CEO. They work with Jean Delbrel - Product Designer, Rebecca Oiknine - Office & Admin Manager, and Romain Durritcague - Head of Engineering.
