Ashley Choo

Ashley Choo is currently a Human Factors Engineering Co-op at Kardium Inc. since May 2025 and works as a Service Desk Support Specialist at UBC Faculty of Arts since January 2025, focusing on IT and AV support for staff and faculty. Previously, Ashley served as a Human Factors Engineering Intern at Kardium Inc. in 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing logistical operations and supporting usability testing for FDA submissions. Experience also includes a role as a Research Assistant in the Department of Psychology at UBC, providing support in cognitive development research. Additional positions include Learning Technology Support Specialist at UBC Faculty of Arts, Sales Associate at Gap, and Student Volunteer at Simon Fraser University. Ashley is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science at The University of British Columbia, expected to graduate in 2026, with familiarity in human factors engineering standards such as IEC-62366 and FDA Human Factors Guidance.
