Hamed Ahmadi

Hamed Ahmadi is an experienced professional with a strong background in engineering and information security. Hamed currently holds the position of Vice President of Engineering and Information Security Officer at Karius, where they lead a team responsible for building and operating infrastructure, tools, and software systems for a non-invasive diagnostic test. Prior to their role at Karius, Hamed served as a Sr. Director of Software Engineering & IT and Information Security Officer at Guardant Health. Hamed has also worked at SunEdison as a Director of Software Engineering and at Microsoft in various roles, including Program Manager and Software Development Engineer. Additionally, Hamed was a founding team member at Splitpen and has previous experience as a Software Engineer at Tecton Products LLC, Ecliptic Technologies Inc., and the Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering.

Hamed Ahmadi holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Washington, a Master of Science (MS) in Software Engineering from North Dakota State University, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology. Hamed has also obtained certifications in FDA bioresearch monitoring from Barnett International in 2018, Six Sigma Black Belt in 2015, and ScrumMaster Certification from Scrum Alliance in 2009.
