Shashank Sharma

Shashank Sharma is an experienced professional in the field of robotics software, currently serving as the Associate Director of Robotics Software at KARL STORZ VentureONE since September 2022, and previously as the Head of Robotics Software at KARL STORZ from January 2022 to September 2022. Prior to these roles, Shashank held several positions at KUKA from November 2012 to December 2021, including Principal Developer, Team Coordinator for Semantic Technologies in both India and Hungary, and Senior Research and Development Engineer focusing on mobile manipulation. Shashank began a career as a Research Engineer in Augmented Reality and Motion Planning with KUKA Robotics in early 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Autonomous Systems from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from the Army Institute of Technology in Pune.
