Timothy Juan began their career in 1991 as a Research Engineer at Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI). Timothy then worked at Renault-Samsung Motors as an Assistant Manager from 1996 to 1997. After that, they had roles as a Senior Engineer at CD-adapco from 1997 to 1999, a Senior Engineer at General Motors from 1999 to 2002, and an Application Manager at Exa Corporation from 2002 to 2004.

From 2005 to 2011, Timothy worked at Navistar Inc as a Senior Technical Specialist, focusing on vehicle thermal management and aerodynamics, climate control, and emission control. During this time, they published two SAE papers as the lead author.

In 2011, they joined Honda R&D as a Senior Engineer, leading the Full Vehicle Underhood Thermal Management CFD process and working on projects such as Acura NSX, MDX, RDX, and Honda Odyssey. Timothy published another SAE paper on vehicle thermal management.

Starting in 2016, Timothy held various positions at Karma Automotive, including Principal Engineer for Vehicle Aerodynamics and Thermal Management and Technical Specialist/Manager for Vehicle Thermal Management and Aerodynamics. Timothy then worked as a Consultant for Aerodynamics and Thermal Systems at Numeritt from May 2020 to September 2020.

Timothy Juan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Timothy also completed a company-sponsored MBA program at Indiana Institute of Technology in 2008-2009. Additionally, they attended Korea 3rd Military Academy and obtained the rank of 2nd lieutenant in Special Operations. Timothy earned a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering as well as a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University. Timothy has obtained multiple certifications in various subjects such as data science, business strategy, and leadership through LinkedIn Learning.
