Julian Paas

Julian Paas has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Development Manager at IBM Canada Software Lab, leading a team in building and releasing merchandising tools for WebSphere Commerce Suite. In 2000, they became the VP of Engineering at Plazmic, where they managed a team and successfully brought a technology concept to market. Julian then joined Research In Motion (now BlackBerry) in 2001, where they held multiple positions, including Director of Advanced Graphics, Director of User Experience Design, and led the development and integration of various technologies. In 2006, they co-founded Liketribe, where they oversaw product development and hosting. Julian later served as CTO at Kibboko, Inc., PCAS Patient Care Automation Services Inc., Digital Retail Apps, and iMD Health, where they were responsible for overall technology strategies and development. Since 2015, they have been the CTO of Karma Casting and has provided technology consulting services and developed consumer software products through Osaaru Corporation.

Julian Paas obtained their Bachelor of Engineering Science degree with a concentration in Mechanical - CAD/CAM/CIM from Western University. Julian completed their studies at the university from the year 1986 to 1990.
