Elaine van Helvoort is a co-founder and project manager at Plantje Voor Morgen, where the team focuses on integrating sustainability within prisons since July 2020. Additionally, Elaine works as a cook at Karma Kebab, a plant-powered restaurant in Utrecht, since September 2022, and previously held a position as a study guide at Lector Studiebegeleiding from November 2019 to September 2022, assisting high school students in improving their academic performance. Elaine also served as a self-employed cook at WAKU WAKU in August 2022, contributing to a plant-based dining experience, and coordinated the Young & Sustainable working group at NJR from July 2020 to August 2021, inspiring youth toward sustainability. Previous roles include a sales assistant at Ekoplaza and HEMA, and a tutor from September 2017 to June 2020. Elaine is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Global Sustainability Sciences at Utrecht University, having completed VWO in Nature & Technology at Dalton Voorburg from 2013 to 2019.
