About the opportunity: You will work in partnership with collaborative go-getters across the company to support and enhance our business to deliver the fastest and most accurate pre-employment checks.  You will assist our Support and Research team with advanced technical support, troubleshoot customer-facing problems in our production environment, and communicate with a variety of stakeholders to improve our platform and processes.  The perfect candidate is passionate, curious, and proactive in finding solutions to problems using sound technical know-how. This is a 100% telecommute position with the rare exception of travel for company/team meetings and/or customer engagement.

What you'll do:

  • Make our platform better on a daily basis.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise in our production environment.
  • Communicate throughout the day with team members to understand issues.
  • Help our operations team to resolve unexpected issues with the system.
  • Identify and document issues that need development for new features or enhancing existing features.
  • Participate in electronic communication channels on a constant basis as part of your daily work.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of hands-on technical support and documentation experience in industries centered around customer support, SaaS, or healthcare.
  • Efficiently able to identify, troubleshoot, and prevent production issues by periodically reviewing logs and code.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and tools.
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and execute accordingly in a fast-paced company environment.
  • Pacific timezone working hours.
  • Plus: Experience with or knowledge of Zendesk.
  • Plus: SQL knowledge.

  • The expected base compensation for this role is between $50,000 - $75,000  for work performed in the United States. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include seniority level, experience level, transferable skills, education, location, business needs, training, and market demands. This range may be modified in the future.
