Thor Linge

Thor Linge has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Thor is currently the Managing Director of Karo Healthcare, a leading consumer healthcare company. Prior to that, they worked as a Managing Director/Consultant & Advisor at KITE Management AS, where they focused on strategic, operational, and organizational projects in the retail and FMCG industries. Thor has also served as the Commercial Director at Walgreens Boots Alliance, overseeing three business units and leading the company's growth program. Thor has held various leadership positions at companies like Komplett Group, New Store Europe NV/SA, Rimi Norge, and ICA Gruppen, where they were responsible for managing business units, implementing turnaround programs, and driving growth and profitability. Thor also has experience in supply chain management and quality improvement. Thor started their career as a Quality Consultant at Nets Group and has served as a Board Member in the past.

Thor Linge holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), which they obtained from 1988 to 1991. Thor then pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the same university from 1992 to 1994. In 2005, they attended Cornell University for the Cornell Executive Programme in the Development of Leadership Capabilities. In 2010, they completed the Babson Executive Programme in Strategic Management and Planning in Retail at Babson College. In the same year, they also attended the University of Oxford for the Oxford Executive Programme in Strategic Leadership. Most recently, they completed the Insead Executive Course - a one-year programme focused on the Executive Board Programme - at INSEAD from 2018 to 2019.
