Syed Umair bin Akhtar

Syed Umair bin Akhtar is an experienced professional in the biomedical and pharmaceutical fields. Currently serving as a Laboratory Engineer at Karolinska University Hospital since January 2022, Syed previously worked as a Biomedical Analyst at Örebro University from January 2020 to January 2022 and completed a Master's degree in Biomedicine at Linköping University from August 2017 to June 2019. Earlier experience includes a role as a Hospital Pharmacist at Liaquat National Hospital & Medical College from October 2014 to August 2017, where Syed managed outpatient pharmacy tasks, identified medication errors, and ensured proper drug dosing and interactions. Syed holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Dow University of Health Sciences, obtained between 2008 and 2014.
