Pien Simons

Pien Simons currently serves as CSRD Coordinator at Karsten International and as a Trainee in Sustainability and Innovation at Breinstein since February 2024. Previous experiences include working as a waitress and barista at Melles People, providing customer service across various high-profile venues from 2021 to February 2024. Pien's academic background includes a Master of Science in Sustainable Business and Innovation from Utrecht University and a graduate exchange semester at York University, underscoring a strong commitment to sustainability-related projects. Additional roles include a student internship at Twig, where research focused on developing a carbon footprint calculator, a competition analyst position at Sungevity, and leadership as Chairwoman of the Anniversary Committee in a sorority.
