Alicia Meli

Alicia Meli has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the pharmaceutical and language services industries. Starting in 2006, they worked at TransPerfect, where they progressed from a Project Manager to a Department Manager and eventually a Senior Project Director. Alicia then took on publications-related roles at Amgen, initially as a Publications Specialist and later as a Publications Specialist Lead. In 2018, they joined Intercept Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Manager in Publications Operations. Alicia then transitioned to Arena Pharmaceuticals in 2019, where they served as a Senior Manager of Medical Writing and Publications. Currently, Alicia works at Karuna Therapeutics as the Associate Director of Publications, starting in 2021.

Alicia Meli's education history begins in 2002 when they earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Pace University. Alicia completed their undergraduate studies in 2006. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Healthcare Decision Analysis from the University of Southern California, which they obtained between 2015 and 2017. Currently, Alicia is enrolled at National University and is expected to graduate in 2025 with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology.
