Joe Ryan

Joe Ryan has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry. Joe is currently working as an Associate Director of Drug Substance Manufacturing and Operations at Karuna Therapeutics since March 2021. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Director of Supplier Relationship at GSK from January 2020 to March 2021. Joe also served as an Associate Director of API Manufacturing Operations at TESARO, Inc. from February 2018 to January 2020. Before that, they worked as a Project Manager at Johnson Matthey Pharma Services from July 2016 to January 2018 and as a Principal Chemist at Johnson Matthey from May 2014 to June 2016. Joe Ryan has also worked as a Production Supervisor at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories from May 2013 to May 2014, as a Materials Scientist at Pratt & Whitney from April 2011 to May 2013, and as a Research Scientist at AMRI (Albany Molecular Research Inc.) from August 2002 to April 2011.

Joe Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, where they attended from 1999 to 2002. Joe then pursued further education, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry at Syracuse University, studying from 2005 to 2010.
