Jessica Cardenas

Jessica Cardenas, PhD, CMPP, currently serves as the Executive Director and Head of Publications & Medical Communications at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc., a position held since August 2022. Prior to this role, Cardenas was the Sr. Director, Global Publications Lead at Taysha Gene Therapies from December 2020 to May 2022, and the Sr. Director of Medical Affairs at Neurogene Inc. from April 2019 to December 2020. Additional experience includes serving as the Director of Clinical Development at Syneos Health, Associate Medical Director at Syneos Health, and Sr. Manager of Publications at AveXis, Inc. Cardenas also held an academic role as Adjunct Faculty at Eastfield College and worked as an Associate Regulatory Specialist at AROG Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cell/Molecular Biology from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis.
