Omkar Shirhatti

Omkar Shirhatti has a diverse and extensive work experience. Omkar is currently serving as the Chief Product Officer at Perfios since August 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Karza Technologies in 2015 and held the position of CEO. At Karza, they developed cutting-edge technologies to combat NPAs and loan frauds using big data analytics and machine learning. Before that, they worked at EY from 2011 to 2015, where they were a Senior Consultant involved in fraud investigations across various sectors. Additionally, they worked as an Intern at Patel & Deodhar Chartered Accountants from 2008 to 2011, focusing on internal audits and fraud investigations.

Omkar Shirhatti completed a Bachelor's in Commerce with a focus on Accountancy & Audit from R A Podar College of Commerce & Economics (Mumbai University) between 2005 and 2008. Then, from 2008 to 2011, Omkar attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained the degree of Chartered Accountant, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Additionally, in October 2015, Omkar obtained a certification in "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera Verified Certificates.
