Ms. Khan is a lawyer by profession and also holds a Master’s Degree in Policy and Management from the Carnegie Mellon University, USA. She has worked in the field of gender and development for many years with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and has also worked with the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) on sustainable development. Ms. Khan works as a freelance consultant and is based in Karachi. She has also been part of various training programs which include International workshop on Popular Education Methods and Organizing for Women Environment, Women Factory Workers and Goal Oriented Project Planning program conducted both at National and International level.
Ms. Khan is currently also director of Kaarvan Crafts Foundation and also served as a director in Aahung working for the reproductive health for both men and women.
