Jovani Lara

Jovani Lara is an experienced professional with a diverse background in coaching and operations management. Jovani currently holds the positions of Volleyball Coach at Kassirer Sports and Operations Manager at Green’s Gardens, both since January 2024. In addition, Jovani serves as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Red Rock Volleyball Club since November 2023 and previously held the role of JV Girl's Volleyball Head Coach at Gateway High School from August to October 2023. Prior experience includes being an Account Manager at Frank and Grossman Landscape Contractors Inc. and a Branch Manager, Assistant Account Manager, and Field Administrator at New Image Landscape Company. Jovani's tenure at UC Davis Police Department included roles such as AHS Supervisor and Aggie Host Security Officer. Jovani holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs, as well as African & African American Studies from the University of California, Davis, completed in 2020.
